General Information

KGS is non-profit organization - completely run by parent & community VOLUNTEERS.

• For all girls ages 5 - 15
• Kentfield, Greenbrae, Ross & North Larkspur
• Season runs from March - end of May
• All games are in Marin (except 15U have some in San Francisco)
• All home games are at Kent 
• Coaches are parents and community volunteers. Please consider helping coach.

KGS Field Improvements

For 2020, we had 1 dump truck of new infield dirt delivered February 29, 2020.  We got it done before Opening Day!

For 2019, KGS invested in a scoreboard, home run fence, batting cage artificial turf and removed 10 feet of sod behind baseline.  After 12 years of use, we bought a new tractor for deep dragging the field.  1 1/2 dump trucks of new infield dirt were delivered April 27, 2019!

Hitting Clinics 8U, 10U, 12U & 15U

KGS Hitting Clinics normally begin in January and run through April. Clinic information will be released in January.

Pitching Clinics: 2nd Year of 10U, all 12U & 15U

KGS will hold pitching clinics from mid-March - May at Kent.  All KGS pitching clinics will be 100% subsidized by KGS (no fee to parents).   Clinic information will be released in March.

Pitching Clinics: 8U and 1st year of 10U

Beginner pitching clinics will be held March - May at Kent. All KGS pitching clinics will be 100% subsidized by KGS (no fee to parents).   

KGS Photo Day

Team and individual photos are taken in March each season at Kent.  Players are dressed in full uniform (team color shirt & socks, jersey, black baseball pants, cleats) and bring their softball glove.

Photo Day is TBD. 

2024 Season Dates

November 1 - December 31: Registration Open

January 1:  Waitlist is formed.  Players can complete interest form online.

Mid-February: Teams & Practice Times announced

March 1: Coach Certification Deadline

March 4: Practices begin

March 16: Games begin 

March 23: KGS Opening Day 

Late April TBD: Marin Tremors tryouts - summer competitive travel softball for 8U & older

May / June TBD: All-Stars Tournament for 2024 (10U & older, select players only)

Late May/Early June: End of season

KGS Days at CAL & Redwood HS

CAL Game Day 2024 date is TBD if possible and limited tickets & Anthem Buddy spots will be available (available to those first to sign up).

Redwood HS Game Day 2024 date will TBD if possible and it will be unlimited in number of KGS families that can attend!

Opening Day Information

Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies will be announced in March.
